I have just purchased a dell xps 15 i decided to buy a 25" usb 30 caddie to plug my existing laptop hard drive into so i could transfer the data across the drive from my old laptop is a 500gb hard disk when you plug in the caddie with the 500gb drive in, you get one of two things happen eith. Asmedia drivers only affect the usb 31 ports if microsoft updates disables usb ports you would expect that it would disable all the ports not just some of them, op said only the rear left usb 30 and 20 port don't work and that all front usb 30 ports work.
